Derek is an experienced sales, marketing, and business development executive with over two decades working with world-leading brands in the media, technology, advertising and cannabis industries.

In the fall of 2000, while working for Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Derek was introduced to the practice of yoga by a few of his sales colleagues who were heading out to a Bikram studio near Boston University.
